The Official Celia Chavez MySpace Page
hahaha. that sounds so funny - as if there were more than one. Let's be virtual pals...

Hilary Gardner
my sister from anotha motha, miss hilary astounds and inspires me with her versatility - first mastering jazz with uncanny time, pitch, and expression, now in the process of becoming an impressive classical lyric soprano! all while being a stone cold fox. we also co-wrote "PT Barnum".

Daniel Mintseris
D-money, Professor D. Mented...my beloved pianist and good friend. master of the ebonies, ivories, and laptop. also plays regularly with Marianne Faithfull and numerous NYC based artists.

Tim Hatfield
Tim has produced, mixed, and/or engineered projects for Death Cab for Cutie, the Damnwells, Marshall Crenshaw, Ann Klein, Steve Earle, Misfits, and Keith Richards, among others. he mixed Sailor's Daughter, is also a very fun hang, and lets me borrow his guitar when I'm back in NYC. (thanks Tim!)

Ann Klein
Formidable guitarist, singer/songwriter, producer, guitar teacher to movie stars, and all-around cool chica.

Kiku Collins, Ninja Princess
Trumpet, flugelhorn, composer, and stunningly beautiful and badass on top of that. One of my favorite ladies!

Mark Goldenberg
Counting my blessings on meeting this talented gentleman, who has accompanied the likes of Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt and Julia Fordham, and currently I have to compete with Paula Cole and Shelby Lynne for his time. He's worth the wait! But his most fascinating (to me) past collaborator is: William Shatner.
Mark also recently released a beautiful CD of his original solo guitar music. Check him out, either online or at one of our shows in Cali. He's a really really nice guy too.

Tim Lefebvre
my regular bassist in NYC when some superstar like Chris Botti or Patti Austin isn't hiring him away. tim is really, really tall and you should hear his band Rudder. they're unbelievably hip and groovy.

Daniel Sadownick
Daniel S. is the baddest percussionist around. No kidding.

Robin Danar
Producer, engineer, live sound specialist whose career spans the last couple of decades of alternative music. Also, a fellow aficionado of diner french fries. Robin's latest project, "Altered States", analbum of songs by a diverse group of artists and musicians - all performing out of character- is coming out on Shanachie Records. We've got a couple of songs in the can that I'm hoping you'll be able to hear later in 2008!

Scott Jacoby
producer, singer, songwriter, meditation buddy, and old-school Puma enthusiast. one groovy white guy. obi!

Everett Bradley
a mastermind of song, theater, love, funk, craziness...naturally, the mastermind behind Holidelic.

Steven Elliot
I first saw Steven with Leah Siegel and he blew me away with his juxtaposition of subtlety and edge, his killer guitar tone and mastery of stompboxes. Steve brought all kinds of ambient yum-yum to the Sailor's Daughter sessions, along with beautiful texture and tone.

Heather Eatman
one of my favorite singer/songwriters in NYC or anywhere. subtle, smart, deranged, delicate, beautiful.
also the mastermind behind swing-noir band Doll Hospital.

Uliana Hair Studio
Uliana is the only one brave enough to tangle with my mop, and have it come out fabulous. Plus, her salon is in Jimi Hendrix's old apartment. Where else to get the rockinest 'do in town?

Overheard In New York
when i get homesick for the big city...i go here.
